SUNDAY IN THE PARK

You are invited to come out and enjoy a fun Sunday afternoon at Pinicon Ridge Park near Central City! We have reserved the Flying Squirrel Shelter for three Sundays this summer—June 22, July 20 and August 17. The shelter will be available starting at 12 pm; come as you can, and bring your picnic lunch. There are picnic tables and restrooms available at the shelter; there is an inclusive playground and hiking trails nearby. Everyone is welcome to join! Pick up an information card for additional details and directions.

RALLY DAY 2025

Mark your calendars for this exciting worship opportunity!

On Sunday, September 7, we will start celebrating Rally Day at LCR with a festive traditional worship service at 8:30 am!

After the traditional worship service, we will move out to the Wapsi Bluff shelter at Pinicon Ridge Park for our contemporary service at 10:30 am. Our worship service will feature bluegrass music!

Stay afterward and enjoy a hot dog and some roasted marshmallows. Invite friends and family and make a day of it!

The Lutheran World Federation (LWF) has launched a call for donations to support the churches and people of Ukraine, who are fleeing their homes and seeking shelter, basic necessities such as food and water, following Russia’s military invasion of the country.

Lutheran Church of the Resurrection will collect donations and forward to Lutheran World Federation. Check and cash donations can be dropped off at the church - please mark "Ukraine" in the memo. You can also donate online using our "Donate" button - select "Ukraine" in the dropdown; or Venmo to @resurrectionlutheran; comment "Ukraine."
