Service Descriptions
At Resurrection we work to offer worship opportunities where people can meet God through music and prayer, readings and images, reflection, fellowship and generosity. To accomplish this we offer three worship times and settings every weekend and on Wednesday evenings during Lent (the 40 days before Easter).
-
Traditional Worship: 8:30 Sunday morning. This service is for people who prefer a more traditional worship setting. Again, we use a variety of liturgies, from traditional to blended, throughout the year. Piano and organ are the principal instruments with songs being sung from the Lutheran hymnals. Anthems are sung or played by one of the many Resurrection choral or handbell groups. Communion is celebrated on the first and third (and fifth when applicable) Sundays of each month. Average attendance is 150-175.
