RALLY DAY 2025

Mark your calendars for this exciting worship opportunity!

On Sunday, September 7, we will start celebrating Rally Day at LCR with a festive traditional worship service at 8:30 am!

After the traditional worship service, we will move out to the Wapsi Bluff shelter at Pinicon Ridge Park for our contemporary service at 10:30 am. Our worship service will feature bluegrass music!

Stay afterward and enjoy a hot dog and some roasted marshmallows. Invite friends and family and make a day of it!

CAR CRUISE-IN

Thursday, September 11

Food served starting at 5 pm

 

We will gather to enjoy the cars & trucks at our monthly cruise-in! Pizza & drinks available for purchase starting at 5 pm. Bring your favorite set of wheels, and invite your family and friends!

 

PEP 55+ TRIVIA EVENT

Sunday, September 21 at 3:00 pm

 

We welcome  both  “regulars” and  newcomers to the Fellowship Hall for our trivia competition. We play as teams, so don’t worry if you are stumped by some of Tom Peterman’s questions. Delicious refreshments and conversation  will top off the afternoon.

 

LCR FOUR-PERSON BEST SHOT GOLF OUTING

AID TO UKRAINE

Online donations marked "Ukraine" will  be forwarded to Lutheran World Relief.

The Lutheran World Federation (LWF) has launched a call for donations to support the churches and people of Ukraine, who are fleeing their homes and seeking shelter, basic necessities such as food and water, following Russia’s military invasion of the country.

 

Lutheran Church of the Resurrection will collect donations and forward to Lutheran World Federation.  Check and cash donations can be dropped off at the church - please mark "Ukraine" in the memo. You can also donate online using our "Donate" button - select "Ukraine" in the dropdown; or Venmo to @resurrectionlutheran; comment "Ukraine."
