Pastor Jeff has been serving at LCR since August of 2020. He is passionate about scripture, teaching and finding ways to help others let their light shine. He and his wife Kelly have two sons and a labradoodle.
Jessi is the Director of Children's Ministries. She has a heart for working with children and loves working with our Sunday School program and Elementary Day Camp during the summer. She also leads Wednesday Night Live and Vacation Bible School.
Marcia is our Volunteer Coordinator. She and her husband Larry have raised two children and now get to enjoy their 4 grandchildren. Marcia is an avid Iowa State fan and can often be found in Ames during football season!
Emily has been a secretary and receptionist at Resurrection since 2003. She is responsible for worship slides, mailings, and answering the phone. Emily loves music, reading, naps, social dancing, and this fine planet.
Cari started as the Director of Connections in late 2019. She is responsible for marketing, communications and technology. She also serves as the Wednesday Evening Song worship team coordinator. Cari loves hiking, kayaking, photography, music and activities with her family.
Laurie is the director of the Resurrection Ringers. She has a music degree from Wartburg College and gives piano lessons in her music studio in her home. She and her husband, Kent, and daughters, Kendrie and Kylee, live in Marion.
Kent Keating
Kent, the director of the Resurrection Choir, brings a lot of experience and connections with the community through his work in local productions, at local high schools, and presently as the Show Choir Director at Mount Mercy College.
Nick Bushkofsky
Nick is the organist/pianist for our traditional worship service. He also accompanies the Resurrection Choir and the Galileans choir. Nick has played for different churches for over 15 years.
Nick is also a high school chemistry and physics teacher. He has a black lab, named Max.
Matthew Lang
Matthew is the accompanist for the Evening Song worship team, and also plays piano for the With Faith worship team. Matthew was baptized and grew up at LCR and is very happy to serve in the music ministry of his home congregation. He has also joined Emmanuel Academies' 5-Year Pastoral Leadership Degree Program.
Barb Hazelton
Barb is the director for the Galilean's women's choir.
Joan Meyer
Joan volunteers as our recording secretary.
Dave Cosgrove
Dave is one of our custodians. He enjoys Hawkeye football and wrestling, spending time with family, and cooking.
Linda Christiansen
Linda started working in the nursery in January, 2020. She also volunteers in many ways at LCR. Linda enjoys playing bells in the Resurrection Ringers group and playing piano.
Jenni Ringwald
Jenni is married to Joe and has two kids, Jackson and Joy. She teaches four year old preschool at Marion. Jenni enjoys reading, kayaking, and helping out at Giving Tree Theater.
