"LOVE HAS COME" LCR CHRISTMAS CONCERT

Celebrate the music of Christmas on Sunday, December 8 at 6 pm! We will showcase the musical groups of LCR, and host a guest orchestra in this sparkling presentation. A festive reception will follow! Free-will offerings and donations of non-perishable food items will be given to The Churches of Marion Food Pantry.

HOLIDAY GIVING PROJECT
HELPING TWELVE LOCAL FAMILIES IN NEED
As a church, we will be providing Christmas gifts for 12 families in need through the Holiday Giving Project, including clothing, shoes, toys, and gift cards. You can either sign up online at LCRMarion.org to purchase requested gifts, or donate money (mark your gift “Holiday Giving Project” and we will shop for you. Monetary donations are requested by Sunday, November 24, so we have time to shop. Presents should be dropped off at the church office by Sunday, December 1.
AID TO UKRAINE
The Lutheran World Federation (LWF) has launched a call for donations to support the churches and people of Ukraine, who are fleeing their homes and seeking shelter, basic necessities such as food and water, following Russia’s military invasion of the country.
Lutheran Church of the Resurrection will collect donations and forward to Lutheran World Federation. Check and cash donations can be dropped off at the church - please mark "Ukraine" in the memo. You can also donate online using our "Donate" button - select "Ukraine" in the dropdown; or Venmo to @resurrectionlutheran; comment "Ukraine."
LCR ADVENT DEVOTIONAL
Our Advent theme this year is "Love's Pure Light," from the beloved Christmas hymn, "Silent Night." Pick up a copy of our simple weekly devotional in the LCR gathering space, along with a battery votive candle, to help you reflect during the Advent Season.
We also invite you to share in-kind offerings to help local people in need. Each week, we have provided suggestions for simple, meaningful gifts to be brought to the manger in the Gathering Space.
